With over 20 years of production experience, I consider myself a diplomat, budget expert, creative production guru, and problem solver. Having worked as a copywriter, editor, camera operator, business manager, and producer has given me insight and experience beyond your average producer.
While living in Los Angeles, I increased my knowledge of production through a variety of freelance jobs for Sony/Beachwood Services, Columbia Tri-Star Television, and the Academy Awards. I also co-produced a short film that launched the career of Dakota Fanning. Using our footage, Dakota landed an agent leading to her first major role in the film “I am Sam.”
Presently, I work as a freelance advertising agency producer on a variety of accounts including Chick-fil-A, Fiat, Metro PCS, Sprint Spanish, Comcast, Greyhound, Western Union, McDonald’s, Taco Bueno, Security Service, Universal Studios and many other brands.
I am quite knowledgeable of media formats, union and non-union talent rates and negotiations, the ins and outs of AICP and AICE bids, and the technicalities of production equipment. I am experienced in various CODECs and compression programs.
As a producer, I have successfully managed many creative teams, their clients, production, and post teams on simultaneous projects. Having a creative background and business finesse, I not only manage your production, I provide creative input and quality control along with required management skills to smoothly handle client needs. I am skilled at stepping in when needed in all areas should it be writing, producing, presentation, or just keeping everyone happy and entertained when necessary.
If hired, you will discover I strive for an excellent experience and product on every production. I am known for my attention to detail along with bringing my projects in on time, on budget, and with just the right amount of vigor and panache.
Please call me at 214-274-6045 should you need a producer, advice, or just good conversation. Now that you know a bit about me, I'd love to learn about you. And thanks for reading this diatribe.
